Reflecting on what makes home and what roots us to home, I began to think about household objects and foods I grew up with. These everyday, nostalgic objects and traditions, represented portals to ancestral wisdom and Intuition— past, present, future. 

Displayed on top of the quintessential rug found in Middle Eastern homes used for prayer or ornamentation, these rituals began to reveal themselves as reminders that we may access Home and the Divine anywhere we are, deeply rooted beyond geography, imperial and colonial borders.
